This week went way smoother than last week. I was able to successful do a fishtail braid in someone else’s hair. Some other success I had was I found a good YouTube Chanel that has good clear hair braiding videos. That was a struggle I had in the past the videos were to confusing. Even though this week had a lot of success there were still quite a few bumps along the road. One struggle I had was I could not figure out how to hold the pieces of hair down and how to braid it so it wasn’t Crooked. Some things I did to make those struggles go away was I tried to keep my hands as close to the head of hair as possible so it would lay straight and even. Next week I will be working on learning how to do a four strand braid on my own hair and someone else’s. I am excited to tackle this task next week.
20% Project week two Dutch braid
For this week my goal was to accomplish learning how to Dutch braid on someone else and on myself. I accomplished this goal. Although I accomplished it there were still a lot of struggles along the way it was difficult to do it on someone else’s head but even harder to do it on mine. It was difficult on someone else’s head because it was hard to get it even and to stay straight. It was so hard to do it on myself because my arms got tired, it wasn’t staying in place, and I couldn’t get it not to be frizzy. Since it was very difficult I needed to stop and take a break and a breather. I think thats what helped me get through it. Next week I will be working on fishtail braiding on someone else and myself. Hopefully it wont be as difficult as the last two Braiding styles.
My Favorite Room
The room in my home that is my favorite is my bedroom. I Love this room so much. One of the reasons I love this room is because it has a comfortable pink bed with fluffy and full pillows. Another reason I like this room the best is because it has a tv in it that I can watch my shows on. The third reason I love my room is because it is my room it is my own space I can do almost anything I want with it. I can decorate it how I want, I can but things where I want, the possibilities are endless. I love my room so much sometimes I wish I can never leave it.
20% project week one French braiding.
I have just started my 20% project I have choose to work on hair braiding. I wanted to do this because I think being able to hair braid is a good skill to have in life That can really up your style game. One thing I accomplished is I learned how to double French braid. I now know how to do it I just need to perfect it. I had a hard time of getting the hair to lay down and go back in a straight line that is something I still struggle with today. I will need to figure out how to fix that issue and watch a video on how to fix it next time we do our project. On thing I did to stay on successful track was when I couldn’t understand the video, I took a breather to calm myself down and looked for a less confusing video. This week was a slight struggle but hopefully it will be better next week.
Childhood Memory
It was a lovely day at the mall I had just finished practice and I went out to get ice cream with my friends after. I looked like the day couldn’t get any better that’s what I thought but if I had knew what was happening next I would be so scared. It was time to leave the ice cream place and my mom couldn’t remember where she had parked so she unlocked the car so she could locate it. She had seen a car beep but my mom said “that can’t be our car there’s a lady getting in it” then the realization kicked in and she started running to her car. Me and my sisters followed but stayed to the side. My mom was begging the lady not to take anything. But out of nowhere the lady said in a dark and scary voice “give me the keys or else” she had a big stick in her hand so my mom didn’t want to mess with her and she started shouting “ help, help this lady is trying to rob me” no one said anything but then all of a sudden a dude comes out of his truck and starts to help and fight the lady. It was a battle the lady whacked him on the top of his head with the stick then ran off. And that’s all a remember it was a very scary interaction for a six year old but I guess the take away is don’t unlock your car until you are right next to it.
Rad reading – march
This month I read the book Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl. This book is about a Fox who steals food everyday for his family from these three farmers. Eventually the farmers get tired of this and hatch a plan to kill the fox and the fox has to figure out how to get him and his family out of that situation.
I really enjoyed reading this book it had funny characters and it had a good mood I felt many different moods for example I went from being scared and anxious to happy and joyful in the span of just twenty pages. The author also did a good job with describing and coming up with good characters. It was a very funny story I was sad when it ended .
My favorite character was Mr Fox. I liked him the best because he was very clever. One quote that shows he was clever is,”Mr Fox was too clever for them. He always approached a farm with the wind blowing in his face, and this meant that if any man was lurking in the shadows ahead, the wind would carry the scent of the man to Mr Fox’s nose. This shows he is clever because he has come up with a plan to not get caught and only people who are very clever can come up with something like that.
I had many favorite quotes from the book but if I had to choose one it would be “they sat by that hole waiting for the fox to come out. And so far as I know they are still waiting.” I like this quote the best because it shows how the farmers got outsmarted and they waited forever for the fox to come out and it never did. I thought it was a funny way to end the book.
My Dinner
If I could I bring anyone to dinner I would invite Taylor Swift, Elon Musk, and my sister Kylie . I would want to bring Taylor Swift because she can give me a free concert and I wouldn’t have to pay. I would want a free concert because I love her music. Secondly I would want to bring Elon Musk because he can teach me how to be successful and make a ton of money in life because I want to be rich like him. I would also want him to come so he could bring me a free pink Tesla. Lastly I would want my sister to come because I enjoy her company and she would get to an experience a free concert and a free Elon musk speech on how to be rich. I would also want her to come because if she came I would enjoy the concert more and if I become rich in life because of Elon’s speech I want her to be rich to so we can go on expensive vacations together. We would go to places like Hawaii and Italy. This dinner would be so fun.
My Dream Job
If I could have any job in the entire world I would be an actor. I would pick this job because it is really fun I wouldn’t dread coming to work everyday. I would also want this job because you would be famous and people would recognize you when you go places. The final reason I would want this job is because you can make a lot of money I would use this money to buy fancy houses and fancy cars. I could also meet a ton of new people and fly and see new places when I am making a movie. The possibilities are endless with this job.
I’m Invisible
I drank a magic motion that has made me invisible for 24 hours. One of the first things I would do is I would go exploring in areas that students aren’t allowed to go to at school I would go in places like special offices and the teachers lounge because I am really curious to what those places would look like. The next thing I would do is I would on to a plane and fly to Hawaii I would go to Hawaii sneak into the hotel room and stay there overnight I would want to do this because it’s free and I love Hawaii. The final thing I would do is I would fly home and spend the rest of my time at Disneyland cutting the lines and going in places that only crew members are allowed in. I would also take cotton candy and churros when they aren’t look because those are my favorite Disney snacks. I would have a great time being invisible.
Rad Reading – February
This month I read the book ESIO TROT by Roald Dahl. It was a very good story about a lonely man who love a beautiful woman. Who lived in the apartment below him and he conducted a crazy in intricate plan to make her love him that involved turtles and lies.
I really enjoyed reading this book I wish it had more pages. The author really does a good job of keeping me intrigued. He does a fantastic job of showing and really demonstrating the characters emotions. He also has good word choices that make me like the book a lot. I would totally recommend this book.
I liked all the characters in this book but if I had to choose one I would pick Mr Hoppy. I liked him the best because he was particularly clever. one quote that shows this is “ tortoises are very backward creature. Therefore they can only understand words that are written backwards. That’s obvious, isn’t it. This proves my statement because he can think in his feet and he can make up lies quick to get what he wants and in this case he wants to help the girl and impress her.
My favorite quote from the book is “ Mrs Silver, please will you marry me. Yes,” she cried “ I thought you would never ask.” I liked this quote the best because it symbolizes how happy they are gonna be and it shows that the man succeeded in his plan to get the girl to fall in love with him. I also like it because I think it is cute and romantic.
